Mitra Torabi is a partner with the firm. A graduate of Southwestern University School of Law, Mitra was admitted to practice law by the State Bar of California in 2005, and spent the first eight years of her career as a civil litigator handling complex disputes.
Mitra has since devoted her career to the practice of family law, integrating her litigation experience into the intricacies of a variety of practice areas within family law, including dissolution of marriage, child custody and support, spousal support and division of property, post-divorce issues/support and custody modifications, preparation of pre-marital and post-marital agreements, parentage/paternity and domestic violence restraining orders. Mitra prides herself on finding the most cost-efficient approach to obtaining the best results for her clients, whether by mediated settlement or by trial.
Mitra serves as a member of the Executive Committee of the Family Law Section of the Los Angeles County Bar Association, is co-chair of the 2022 Los Angeles County Bar Association Child Custody Colloquium, is co-chair of the Beverly Hills Bar Association Committee on Empowering Women, and has worked as a volunteer at the Harriett Buhai Center for Family Law. Among other accolades, Mitra is the recipient of the Beverly Hills Bar Association Board of Governors’ Award, has been recognized as a Super Lawyer in family law by LA Magazine and is named a Top Woman Attorney.
